My my My my

We’re happy to announce some exciting improvements for our 2018 Bison Baseball program. We’re making these changes to create a stronger city-wide youth baseball community. We’ll have a meeting for interested families in late August to provide more detail - including 2018 tryout information. Here’s a preview of the changes we have planned.

What is Changing:

  • We’re expanding to cover ALL 9U to 14U baseball players in Boulder - regardless of your Little League or neighborhood high school.

  • We’re changing our colors to black and gold to reflect our new city-wide focus.

  • We’re adding pre-season skills clinics with experienced coaches to help Boulder’s better players develop solid fundamentals to prepare for high school baseball.

What is Not Changing:

  • We’re local and will have Boulder practices. (Our 13U and 14U teams also have local league games.) We know families are busy and want to maximize field time and minimize travel time.

  • We’re affordable. We recognize families are on a budget and we strive to keep costs down.

  • We’re a complement to Little League. We’re big Little League supporters and offer tournament and full rules baseball to augment your Little League experience, not replace it. We partner with SBLL and NBLL to manage schedules and pitch counts.

How Can You Help?

We’re a non-profit organization, so we need your help. Here are ways that you can contribute:

  • Coaches - Do you know former players or coaches (high school or college) who’d like to give back to the game? We’re seeking 6-8 coaches who are passionate about teaching youth baseball. If you or someone you know might be a good fit, please contact Chris Bukowski @ .

  • Board Members - We’re looking for new board members who are passionate about building a stronger Boulder baseball community. We need folks who are good at organizing, marketing and fundraising. If interested, contact Kent Dinkel or any other Diamond Baseball of Boulder Director.

  • Financial Support - Are you short on time to volunteer, but can contribute financial resources to keep player costs down? If so, click here.
